About the Event

Thank you to everyone who came to our FREE hour-long concert of constitutional proportions! An event in partnership with the Anchorage Museum

A fun look at the confluence of the legal world and the arts, through short presentations on the legal legacy of the Supreme Court paired with selected scenes from operas that reflect those values.

The perfect primer for our Alaska premiere production of Scalia/Ginsburg by Derrick Wang, this cultural program focuses on the titular justices’ shared love of opera and celebrates the virtues of civil discourse.

Works by Gilbert & Sullivan, Mozart, Puccini & Benjamin Britten were performed by fabulous local talent, Laurie Soderstrom, Anna Cometa, Nancy Caudill, Luke Honeck, Daniel Salas-Peterson, Kyle Gantz, Phil Cheasebro, Brewster Jamieson, Christabel Sosa, and guest artist, Jesús Vicente Murillo!, one of the stars of Scalia/Ginsburg! AO General Director, Ben Robinson, was your host and MC!
