Oh what a night! Thank you to everyone who came to the BASH in support of Anchorage Opera. Guests enjoyed the beautiful Alaskan evening inside and out of Jim Rooney’s lovely home, while sipping champagne, feasting on the delectable dinner by Chef Derek Johnston and Casual Encounters Catering, enjoying the fabulous music by Choice Bit of Calico, and of course toasting the man of the hour, General Director, Ben Robinson…and eating CAKE with him. We are so grateful for the support of our community as we try to reach a fundraising goal of $40,000 by 6/30/24, to ensure the next 40 years of Anchorage Opera! Thank you & BRAVO!

General Director Ben Robinson is turning 40 and we’re CELEBRATING! Long-time friend of Anchorage Opera, Jim Rooney, will host the party at his beautiful home and Anchorage Opera favorite Katie Strock and her band, Choice Bit of Calico, will be keeping things lively with all the greatest hits through the decades, including the 40s!
Dancing will not be discouraged, dinner will be served, champagne will flow, and there will be CAKE!
