About the Event

A gala evening of Dinner, Dancing, Silent and Live Auctions in support of  four local 501(c)3 charitable organizations. Started in 1994 by a committee of dedicated volunteers led by Robert Penney and then Mayor Rick Mystrom, the Anchorage Mayor’s Charity Ball has raised to date over $3,100,000 to support community charitable organizations.

100% of all net proceeds from the ball are distributed to the four honored charities each year.
