Alaska voices take center stage

Anchorage Opera celebrates the next generation of Alaskan talent in an exciting showcase featuring emerging singers from across the state in scenes, arias, ensembles, and musical storytelling that spans opera’s greatest repertoire.

The Alaska Artist Showcase highlights the extraordinary rising talent being cultivated through Anchorage Opera’s Alaska Artist Development Program. Featuring singers from across Alaska alongside guest mentors and collaborative artists, this dynamic evening includes beloved opera scenes, powerful arias, and ensemble performances spanning classic masterworks and contemporary repertoire. Designed to celebrate artistry, mentorship, and the future of opera in Alaska, the Showcase offers audiences a unique opportunity to experience the state’s emerging performers in a vibrant and intimate theatrical setting.
