A captive by the King of Egypt and his daughter, Amneris, the Ethiopian princess Aida must choose between her love for Radamès, leader of the Egyptian army, and her father and homeland. Collaboration with the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra.

The grandest of grand opera, Giuseppe Verdi’s sweeping masterpiece is the story of the captive Ethiopian princess, Aida, who must choose between her love for Radamès, the leader of the Egyptian army, or her loyalty to her homeland. Known for its spectacle, rousing marches, and sumptuously orchestrated score, this collaboration between Anchorage Opera and the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra is a thrilling night of music drama.
