Even though you’ve already filed for your PFD, remember that you can still add, or change, a donation online until Aug 31st. Thank you for your support!

Thanks to the generosity of Alaskans donating through the State of Alaska Permanent Fund PICK.CLICK.GIVE. program, Anchorage Opera was able to produce a very special show this season, Aklaq and Nayak (An Alaska Native Adaptation of Hansel and Gretel). In collaboration with the UAA Opera Ensemble, the production received high acclaim in our community and resonated not only with dedicated patrons, but also with new audiences, many of whom had never experienced opera before. We couldn’t have done it without you and we want you to know how grateful we are. We toured the show, beginning in 2016, as part of an all new Education Program, AO 2 Go, for the families and schoolchildren of Alaska. Only with the continuing support of dedicated patrons, such as yourself, can we realize our mission of being the center of artistic creation, innovation and education through the presentation of opera and related events encouraging public collaboration and community engagement for the people of the State of Alaska.  Thank you for being an important part of achieving this mission.
